When asked to join the Women’s Philanthropy Council, Alice Trott felt it would be a wonderful opportunity to help a deserving student to acquire a quality education that might not be available to them otherwise
Alice is not a Husson alumnus, but her husband is and she has attended many functions with him as he serves on the board of trustees and as past chairman of the board. They have had two children graduate from Husson with degrees in business and I feel that they both have been very well prepared for their professional positions. Husson has had a long tradition of preparing their students to be workplace ready upon graduation and continues to do so.
Alice also serve on the campaign cabinet for Husson.
Alice worked for many years in the healthcare industry. Before retirement she served as Director of Therapy Services at Bangor Nursing and Rehab Facility.
Alice grew up in Bar Harbor, Maine, and has been married for 47 years to Richard Trott. They have three children (their youngest Leslie serves on the Husson Alumni Board). Alice and Richard have always loved sailing and being by the ocean, traveling and as of late watching their beautiful grandchildren grow. In the summer months you could also find them at camp at Schoodic Lake with their grandchildren.
