The Husson University Women's Philanthropy Council Scholarship Fund
The purpose of this fund is to provide financial assistance to a full-time matriculated Husson students who has demonstrated financial need in working toward an undergraduate degree and who is beginning their sophomore year in good academic standing. The student will continue to be awarded the scholarship annually, with the understanding that all academic program requirements are met through graduation.
The Husson University Women's Philanthropy Council President's Innovation Fund
The purpose of this fund is to support unique and innovative approaches toward advancing student success. It is awarded annually to a faculty, student and/or staff member. Innovations are defined as projects, programs, policies or practices that have demonstrated positive, measurable outcomes and reflect initiatives that support new and creative approaches to sponsor.
The Husson University Women’s Philanthropy Council President’s Innovation Fund recognizes one faculty, student or staff member each academic year. Applicants will be expected to submit a proposal not to exceed 500 words to their respective administrative supervisor. The Administrator will submit the proposal for submission to the President. The final selection will be made by the President. All applicants will be informed of the results no later than April 30. Outcomes for success must be measurable as defined by the design and purpose of the initiative.
Women's Philanthropy Council/Husson University Faculty Scholar Enhancement Fund
The purpose of this fund is to support advance educational excellence and enhance the student experience further insuring student success. The fund supports a Husson University faculty scholar who wishes to partake in scholarship, curriculum development, travel and/or research activities that will drive and strengthen student achievement and development.
The successful applicant will receive a $1,000 stipend (until fund is fully endowed at which point the award amount will be in accordance to the institutional spending policy) that may be used for activities including, but not limited to, conferences, faculty-sponsored guest speakers, and professional development. The scholar will also be expected to write and present on their experience to the campus community and the Women’s Philanthropy Council Executive Committee.
The Husson University Women's Philanthropy Council General Fund
The purpose of this fund is to provide financial assistance as needed related to Council sponsored activities, including supplemental needs for luncheon expenses, speaker discretionary needs, anticipated enhancement or support of Council business, etc.
