Tricia Clark and is a proud supporter of Husson University, having joined this community when her husband Bob Clark became President of the prestigious University in 2010.
Tricia was born in New Jersey and lived in Delaware and Connecticut before her parents moved to Maine when she was a junior in high school. She attended Bangor High School for a year and a half. Tricia majored in Music Education at the University of Maine at Orono and earned both a Bachelor of Science in Music Education and a Master of Music. Her major instrument is the organ. After graduation, Tricia taught Elementary Music in Bangor for three years and then in Sanford, Maine for two years. She taught music in Vermont and in Indiana as well. Her primary enjoyment has been as a church musician as organist, voice choir director and bell choir director. Wherever she has moved, there has been a need for an organist
Tricia met her husband, Bob Clark at the University of Maine and they were married here in Bangor. They are so proud of their two adult daughters. Sarah is married and teaches high school Math. She and her husband have made Tricia and Bob grandparents twice over with two grandsons. Elizabeth, their youngest daughter graduated from Husson with a nursing degree and is engaged to be married.
Tricia finds Husson University has found its niche in providing education that helps students be job ready when they receive their degree. The quality of education is exemplary as evidenced by feedback from employers’ and their desire to hire Husson graduates. The success and pride that alumni have about their alma mater is heartwarming. Tricia is so proud to be affiliated with such a high quality institution as Husson University.
